Hello, my name is Krystal Susag. I was born and raised in Harvey, North Dakota with my two older sisters. After graduating high school in 2015, I moved to Bismarck to live with my sisters. While in Bismarck I attended Bismarck State College were I received two Associates degree one in Art and the other in Science. After graduating from BSC I transferred to the University of Mary to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education and minor in Special Education. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my two cats and chinchilla. I also love traveling with my family and exploring new places in Arizona. During the summer months I like to be outdoors as much as possible by either going on walks, going to the lake, or playing softball.
Why Education? While in high school I spent a lot of my weekends babysitting for families in the community. I loved being able to play games and do learning activities with the kids. Some of those activities include; Uno, singing the ABC's and counting. This is where I found my love for working with children. Seeing their eyes light up when they learned something new and seeing them be excited for themselves was so rewarding. That is when I realized that, this is what I went to do for the rest of my life. I have now been employed at a daycare center since 2016.
